In a bid to foster awareness and understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), a seminar was organised by Pushpa Gujral Science City on 08.11.2023.
The seminar commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Rajesh Grover, Director Science City kapurthala, who highlighted the crucial role that Intellectual Property plays in stimulating innovation, protecting creativity, and fostering economic growth. He emphasized the need for a robust IPR framework to encourage research and development across industries.
Dr. Abhinandan Bassi, Assistant Professor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala was the key speaker at this occasion. She offered insights into the various facets of Intellectual Property. The audience was treated to a comprehensive overview of the legal and practical aspects of safeguarding intellectual creations. Furtenr, She said that Intellectual property is a part and parcel of our life. No matter what we do and where we are. We are always surrounded by the fruits of human creativity and inventions which make our life much easier.
The seminar also provided a platform for interactive sessions, allowing participants to engage with the speakers and clarify their doubts. Attendees gained valuable knowledge on how to navigate the complex terrain of Intellectual Property Rights, whether as creators, entrepreneurs, or legal practitioners.
