Wildlife Week

Pushpa Gujral Science City celebrated Wildlife Week during October 2-8, 2019. Special lectures and demonstrations on importance of wildlife were organized at Science City for students and general public. Various competitions like Painting, Quiz and Essay Writing were conducted by Science City on October 05, 2019 at Mini Zoo Cum Dear Safari, Bathinda under Department of Forest and Wildlife, Govt. of Punjab as a part of Wildlife Week celebration. About 200 students from different schools participated in the event. Expert lecture was given by Dr.BS Bhalla, Scientist-D, PGSC on Wildlife Conservation to the participating students. Mr. Pawan Shridhar, Forest Ranger and In-charge Mini Zoo cum Deer Safari, Bir Talab, Bathinda was the Guest of Honour. Plantation was done by the students in the Zoo campus.
